This waterer was purchased at the same time I purchased the 7 gal water fount. This heater is doing a great job in our hen house and the temps are very low. No frozen water in this fount. My little 9 year old looks after his flock of feathered ladies and this makes it a whole lot easier on him. You don't have to fill it daily and you won't have to worry about your hens having water.
