These beautiful birds are mostly white, but their tail and neck feathers are striped with black bars. This dual-purpose breed features excellent egg production, lays large brown eggs, and has superior meat characteristics. Average mature weight: roosters 8 1/2 lbs.; hens 6 1/2 lbs.

I received my order of 25 mixed breed hens yesterday and I could not be any happier! They all look very healthy, went right on to eating and drinking well, and my Delawares in particular are so very gentle and sweet!! Wish I had more room so I could order more. :O)
