An active, ornamental bird that actually flies fairly well for a chicken. Originally bred for steep mountanous terrain, they are good climbers and foragers. Like to roost in trees espcially during cold snaps. Boast a single pointed hood, with feathers defined as crazy in a "Cruella de Vil" sort of way. verage mature weight: Roosters 8 1/2 lbs., hens 6 lbs.
