I have 3 of these feeders and the hens were using their beaks to flip the food out and waste it. So, I hand-made some heavy wire 'rings' for the feeders. The 'rings' sit down on the outside lip of the food trough and against the food hopper. Now, no more wasted feed. Years ago all feeders were metal and they came with these 'rings'; luckily I still had one to use as a pattern and only had to adjust the width to match the width of the trough. I'd suggest all feeders be made with them the same as your Turkey feeders are. Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No
