these traps are the best for trapping the racoons that steal our chickens all you need is a simple little piece of bait in the back,you wanna use a small piece so the trap-ee
can't pull the bait thru the trap and then break free,but, we've caught coons,possums,large rats and even chicken hawks.we do not kill what we catch tho'. we simply take whatever we catch to our local wildlife commisioner,and they check it for rabies and or other diseases.and then they choose where to release it,but,no-where near our location.
