These cones are standard, necessary fare for butchering poultry. Secure the cones near where you want to dress the birds. Slide birds into the top of the cone, hold their legs out the top, and guide their head through the small hole at the bottom. The cone prevents the bird from flopping and running off (and reduces the risk of you cutting yourself instead of the bird). These cones are all 20 gauge 100% stainless steel and have flat backs for easier mounting.
Use the large for 3 to 8-pound birds, such as pastured poultry. The top opening measures 10 3/4" x 11" and cone is 20" in length.
