Enteritis organisms are most often found in poultry bedding that has been used for several flocks, become wet and builds-up and begins to ferment. Treatment as specified on manufacturers label: 1/8 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water equals 100mg/gallon. 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water equals 200mg/gallon. 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water equals 400mg/gallon. 1 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water equals 1000mg/gallon. Start medication at first signs of disease and administer continuously for 5 to7 days. Treatment not to exceed 14 days. To control or prevent an outbreak treat at first sign of disease.
