Lavender Orpington Hatching Eggs

IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh on Mondays from our breeding flock and shipped Tuesdays by USPS Priority Mail. Hatching eggs are labeled with a breed code to help with identification during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year round but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success due to the many variables with incubating and hatching techniques. Damaged eggs must be reported upon arrival.

Lavender Orpingtons are a beautiful and friendly rare breed. Their docile personality makes them the perfect addition to backyard flocks and are great for families with small children. This breed will lay 3-4 lightly tinted almost pink eggs each week. Meyer Hatchery’s Lavender Orpingtons are the American strain. We also offer this breed as day old chicks.

Egg orders with less than 6 eggs will incur a small order fee of $7.00
