Wazine Piperazine 17%, 8 ounces
Wazine 17% liquid wormer is a concentrate used in the drinking water of turkeys and chickens to control the large roundworm found in the intestines. To use, remove all other sources of water and offer the diluted Wazine solution to your flock, allowing them to drink only the Wazine solution for 24 hours. After 24 hours have passed, empty and refill waterers with fresh drinking water. Poultry can be wormed with Wazine every 30 days if needed. Wazine should not be used on poultry intended for egg production. Do not use Wazine in poultry intended for meat consumption within 14 days of slaughter. Wazine contains 17% piperazine and is manufactured by Fleming Labs.
For chickens: Broiler chickens can be wormed with Wazine beginning at 4 weeks of age and used once every 30 days thereafter. Dilute 1 ounce of Wazine into 1 gallon of water. For chickens over 6 weeks of age, use 2 ounces of Wazine in 1 gallon of water.
For turkeys: The dilution rate of turkeys is 1 ounce of Wazine in 1 gallon of water. Turkeys may be wormed as young as 4 weeks of age and may be wormed once every 30 days until slaughtering age.
