Flying Mallard Ducks

These slim ducks are the same as the wild birds that appear in ponds and streams. True to their habit as migratory birds, these birds will fly away for the winter, but will often return to the same location in the spring. Mallards are the ancestor to most of the domesticated ducks known today. They are self-reliant, good foragers and good mothers. They are also great entertainment and organic insect control.

Average mature weight: Drake 2 1/2 lbs, Duck 2 lbs

Important note: All Mallard Ducklings hatched domestically are required to be identified per US Fish and Wildlife regulations. Our ducklings will have a back toe removed upon hatch to identify them as domestically hatched.

***We are unable to ship Mallard Ducklings to the state of Florida due to state fish and game regulations.
